I lost my passion for photography quite some time ago. Chalk it up to a bad experience, lack of inspiration, imposter syndrome, or all of the above. It's hard to explain the "why's" but that's irrelevant now.

When I finally picked the camera back up, I still felt lost - like everything I had learned all those years ago was just gone. So I started looking for local workshops and enrolled in an Introduction to Photography course at one of the local art museums Summer 2023. All of us had varying levels of experience. The instructor, Kathy Buckalew, took the time to really walk us through the basic principles of photography, how to work with the different settings within our cameras, as well as constructive criticism of our assignments.
